Logo and merchandise designs for Rolling Meadows High School marching band's production titled "One Small Step," inspired by the 1969 US moon landing. The client requested visually captivating designs that capture the essence of this historic event while reflecting the spirit and theme of the marching band's production. The merchandise designs will encompass various items such as t-shirts, social media posts, and other promotional materials, aiming to enhance the audience's experience and create lasting mementos of the band's 2023 program.

PROCESS

The design process for the Rolling Meadows High School marching band's merchandise began with an exploration of simple logo design ideas that would be readable on any medium. Using Adobe Photoshop, various design ideas are generated, integrating elements from the 1969 US moon landing and space imagery. These initial designs were presented to the client for feedback, allowing for revisions based on their input and preferences. Utilizing Photoshop's tools, revisions are implemented, refining the composition and typography, and finalizing color schemes incorporating the school's purple and yellow colors.
