PROJECT BRIEF

The project consists of a digitally illustrated abstract jazz poster featuring a saxophone musician to encapsulate the essence of the jazz combo music genre. The poster utilizes vibrant colors, dynamic shapes, and expressive lines to convey the improvisational spirit and rhythmic energy of jazz music. The saxophone musician is the focal point, depicted with intricate detail while abstract elements surrounding them evoke a sense of movement and creativity. 

PROCESS

The technical process began with conceptualization of the essence of jazz combo music. The digital illustration of the saxophone musician was created in Adobe Illustrator, then colored and texturized in Adobe Photoshop. Throughout the process, iterative revisions solidified the balance of composition and the effective communication of the jazz combo genre.
