PROJECT BRIEF

The project entailed crafting a captivating logo design for Hand Poured Creations, a jewelry company specializing in gothic and fantasy-inspired pieces. The logo will serve as the visual cornerstone of the brand, capturing the essence of its unique aesthetic and captivating allure. Drawing inspiration from fantasy motifs, the logo evokes a sense of mystery, elegance, and craftsmanship by depicting a hybrid of a hand and a flame. Typography plays a key role, with letterforms reflecting the ornate and decorative nature of the brand's creations. 

PROCESS

The process for the logo design of Hand Poured Creations began with thorough research into gothic architecture, fantasy motifs, and intricate jewelry designs to inform the creation of a visually captivating logo. The client was given a multitude of directions to decide from, then ultimately refining to fewer options. The illustrations are refined, paying attention to detail and balance to achieve a cohesive and aesthetically pleasing hybrid design. Simultaneously, decorative and gothic typography is chosen to complement the theme, emphasizing elegance and sophistication. The client then chose a combination of color palettes, typography, and designs.
